The versatile artist NaakMusiQ was taken aback when he stumbled upon an image of himself caught up in a Betway scam, designed to lure unsuspecting victims.
The famed singer’s image was cynically exploited to entice potential victims into a classic scheme promising quick riches, and he wasn’t about to let it slide.
NaakMusiQ Discovers His Image Embroiled in Betway Scam
In the social media post, the individual referred to Naak as Thabang Mahlangu and cheekily applauded him for using his supposed Betway earnings to purchase his flashy new car, a white BMW.
While this might come across as a playful jest, the tactic is widely recognized and preys on vulnerable users, enticing them to splurge their money on gambling platforms.
User @DreadyPrince took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and celebrated one of his successful Betway students for buying a luxury car with his winnings.
“One of my betway student bought a car today 🙏❤️congrats Thabang Mahlangu,” @DreadyPrince wrote on X.
The musician was surprised to see his image being used to promote a platform he probably doesn’t even use. He replied to the post and triggered a flurry of subsequent comments.
