Nasty C Finally Breaks His Silence After Punching a Fan in Zambia
Nasty C is currently touring with fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest, named the African Throne World Tour. On September 8th, they performed in Botswana, and on the 9th, they arrived in Zambia to entertain the audience.
They have also taken the stage in Kenya, Rwanda, Mozambique, and Eswatini. Their tour will continue to nine more countries, including Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Nigeria, England, and the United Arab Emirates.
On September 9th, Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest thrilled fans at the NASDEC in Lusaka, Zambia, dedicating their show to the late hip-hop superstar AKA, who was tragically shot dead in February of this year.
The Fan Onstage and the Unexpected Reaction
During the performance, Nasty C, whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo, was singing songs from his upcoming album, “I Love It Here.” As he was engrossed in his performance, an excited fan managed to evade event security, jumped onto the stage, and tried to hug Nasty C.
That’s when things took an unpleasant turn. Nasty C reacted swiftly, throwing punches at the fan, who took a few steps back. Nasty C followed up with two forceful strikes, and security personnel rushed to apprehend the intruder.
If it weren’t for the security team, Nasty C might have continued the altercation. The fan had already fallen to the ground from the punches and the force of the security personnel, who quickly removed him from the stage.

Nasty C Explains After Punching Fan in Zambia
Finally, Nasty C has revealed the reason behind his actions. When asked by Nandi Madida on her Apple Music show “Africa Now” whether his reaction was due to paranoia, Nasty C confirmed it was. He also expressed regret for his impulsive actions, saying:
“Yeah, I think it’s just that constant paranoia, man, of not knowing who you can trust. Plus you gotta think too, all the energy is all the way through the roof, tension, there’s nerves behind me getting on stage, there’s just all these things that are going on at the same time you know. And I get out there, I can barely see anything, I’m wearing shades, I’m being blinded by all these lights and I just see someone run up on me, you know my natural instinct is to fight back. And it is just very unfortunate, I wish it hadn’t happened that way but at the time I wasn’t really thinking, it was just natural instincts man.”
Simultaneous Album Releases
In other news, Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest released their albums on the same day. Nasty C released his album “I Love It Here” while Cassper Nyovest has released “Solomon” which carries a heartfelt tribute to his nemesis and late rapper AKA.
