From Raps to Nappies: Nasty C Opens Up About Welcoming Son Oliver and Cherishing Fatherly Moments

Congratulations are in order for rapper Nasty C and his girlfriend Sammie Heavens real name, Ntombizodwa Beatrice Sibanyoni.

Nasty C and his high school sweetheart welcomed their first son named Oliver a few weeks ago.

In an interview with ZiMoja, the Zulu Man With Some Power rapper confirmed the news and said Oliver is a strong little boy.

Although he did not reveal many details, Nasty C said he and Sammie gave baby Oliver three names; an English name, a Zulu one and a Japanese name.

“He arrived a few weeks ago. He is a strong little boy. He has a Zulu name, English and a Japanese name,’ Nasty C revealed to ZiMoja.

Nasty C revealed the pregnancy in a freestyle, Dear Oliver, and says he definitely shares his journey on fatherhood in the upcoming track titled, Oliver.

While the rapper managed to keep the birth of his son under wraps, he revealed how fatherhood has been for him so far.

He said he is loving every minute of being a father and jokingly revealed that it is the reason why he has gained some weight. Although he has a busy schedule, he is a full-time dad and lives with Oliver in Johannesburg.

“I am loving every minute of it. I even gained some daddy fat. He has to live with me. I love being a dad.” he jokes.

Nasty C says when he found out about the pregnancy, he was both nervous and excited. He said now that he is a father being a father is not as hard as he had imagined it would be.

“There was a lot of excitement that happened when we found out. I was also extremely nervous but I am fortunate that my girlfriend and I have a very healthy relationship. Being a dad is not as hard as I thought it would be,’ Nasty C added.

Nasty C says that with the busy and complicated music industry, having a family is grounding.

“The music industry can get very hectic and having a kid grounds me. I get to go home to so much joy,’ he said.
