Nomzamo Mbatha’s Young Brother, Zamani Joins Rhythm City As Suffocate’s Son

Zamani Mbatha Joins Rhythm City As Suffocate’s Adoptive Son; Pule Ndlovu.

Zamani who was supposed to join Sdumo Mtshali who plays the late Thandeka Zungu’s (Nomzamo Mbatha) husband on Isibaya and Zamani Mbatha who is Nomzamo Mbatha’s real-life brother has cancelled his contract with Clive Morris’s upcoming SABC 3 telenovela; The Estates. It is unclear why he changed his mind about the upcoming telenovela.

Fans are excited about the actor joining the cast of Rhythm City as they love the show and it’s the second most-watched show on ETV. They are most excited about him playing their favourite’s; Suffocate Ndlovu’s son whose been with the soapie for over a decade.

According to the teasers, Mzi Ndlovu who is Suffocate’s other son will not get along with Pule and not be so trusting with him as their father. Suffocate is on a mission to clear his name in the current storyline and reclaim all the wealth that was taken from him by Khulekani Ngobese and Pearl Genaro.

Zamani’s character isn’t as squeaky clean as his half-brother; Mzi Ndlovu who is a lawyer. Mzi might be jealous of his half-brother’s relationship with their father who is also playing dirty.

This will be Zamani Mbatha’s second big break after Isithembiso got cancelled a while ago by Mzansi Magic.

It is unclear at this stage how long his contract will be with the show, as they’ve been hiring and firing a lot of actors recently.

Rhythm City is Quizzical Pictures’ longest-running soapie and the most successful. It has a variety of talented cast such a Petronella Tshuma who plays Pearl Genaro, Mduduzi Mabaso who playsSuffocate Ndlovu, and Mpho Molepo who plays the role of Goitsemang”Fats” Tselapedi
