Bail Denied for 5 Suspects in AKA’s Murder Case
Meanwhile, the Durban magistrate’s court has denied bail for the five accused individuals in the AKA murder case. Judge Vincent Hlatshwayo stated that it would be “reckless and irresponsible” to allow the suspects to be released on bail, citing the need for them to answer to the charges they face.
“It is the finding of this court that it would be reckless and irresponsible to allow the applicants on bail. It is, therefore, the finding and order by this court that, in the circumstances, bail is refused in respect of all five accused,” the judge said.
