‘God Has Done Wonders’: Pastor Mboro Insists His Arrest Has Led to Positive Changes

Founder of the Incredible Happenings Church, Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng, might be sitting behind bars, but he insists there’s a silver lining to his arrest—if his claims are to be believed.

Mboro was taken into custody after allegedly dragging his grandchildren out of school while armed with pangas.

Pastor Mboro Gives An Update On His Wellbeing Behind Bars

While one might expect him to feel down, he insists he is not even though he submitted a new bail application on Monday on the hopes that he will be released from custody and allowed to attend court from home. Pastor Mboro says he finds comfort in prayer while behind bars.

“I was praying. I was not depressed. I was talking to God. The cases we opened are not entertained. My cars are being destroyed,” he said.

Claims of Sabotage and Family Feud

Mboro accuses his grandchildren’s maternal family of setting fire to his church and damaging his vehicles. He claims he has reported these incidents to the authorities, but feels they are not being treated with the urgency they deserve.

“The church is burnt down by the family that wants to take the children that were born in my house and that were raised by me and my son,” Pastor Mboro added.

Defying court officials who instructed him not to speak to journalists, Mboro shouted, “Ntloheleng lona [leave me alone]; this is my life.” before continuing, “So, what is happening now, I am trusting God. You see, I am here now still waiting, so that is it.”

Pastor Mboro Insists His Arrest Has Led to Positive Changes

He believes that the delays in his case are due to his high profile, and claims he’s not being treated fairly. Despite his situation, Pastor Mboro insists his arrest has had a positive impact on his fellow inmates.

“In the cells, people have given up drugs. God has done wonders,” he said.
