The Controversial Zimbabwe Excursion
In August, Pearl Thusi, veteran actor Sello Maake KaNcube, actress Sonia Mbele, and a group of African journalists embarked on a tour of Zimbabwe.
The tour, occurring just days before the country’s 2023 elections, included visits to the majestic Victoria Falls, meetings with Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa, and banquets with government officials.
