In response to the circulating rumours, MacG, whose real name is Macgyver Mukhwevho, took to various platforms to set the record straight. Contrary to the assumptions, he disclosed that the signature collection was not indicative of political aspirations but rather in compliance with the Electoral Commission’s new mandate necessitating 1000 signatures for independent candidates.
