The car, which Londie London proudly showcased on social media in March last year, was allegedly hijacked in KwaZulu-Natal and subsequently handed over to her by her ex-boyfriend, Sphamandla Mabonga.
Sources close to the police disclosed to the Sunday World that the vehicle was seized last month as investigations unveiled its connection to a hijacking incident involving a security company in Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).

This revelation comes in the wake of Mabonga’s recent legal troubles, including charges related to a shooting incident outside Tempo Luxury Restaurant and Lounge in Sandton last month. The ongoing investigation is now extending to include other high-end vehicles, with police actively seeking a Bentley and a BMW i8.
The source further discloses that the investigation into Mabonga’s activities has uncovered several illegal firearms, resulting in the businessman facing charges of attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm. Mabonga, who was hospitalized in January after sustaining gunshot wounds during the Sandton incident, is reportedly under police watch.
