Tito Mboweni’s Final Wish Granted

In 2018, Mboweni, who often shared his thoughts with his followers on X (formerly Twitter), posted a reflection on his final wishes. He expressed a desire for a simple yet respectful burial.

“My son saw my earlier tweet and he asked, ‘What else do you want to do? Nothing: I have done everything a reasonable human being would have wanted to achieve in life. I replied: Just give me a decent burial when my time comes to go. He said: You are going nowhere! That’s nice of him!”
