Sbuda Roc and Moozlie Break-Up: TxC DJ Duo Responds to Cheating Allegations
Amapiano DJing duo TxC, consisting of Tarryn Reid (26) and Clairise Hefke (28), have addressed the rumors surrounding rapper Moozlie and her ex-boyfriend Sbusiso “Sbuda Roc” Motloung’s recent breakup, which allegedly occurred due to his infidelity with one of the members of TxC.
The Break-Up
Over the weekend, Zimoja reported that the well-known media personality, Nomuzi Mabena, also known as Moozlie, and Sbuda Roc ended their eight-year relationship. Moozlie has since moved out of their shared residence.
A source close to the situation revealed that Moozlie, who is a talented rapper and the creative director of Era by DJ Zinhle and Drip Footwear, was deeply hurt by the revelation. She had envisioned a future with Sbuda Roc, including marriage and children. However, she has since moved on and is now dating a businessman.
The source further claimed that Sbuda Roc cheated on Moozlie with one of the members of DJ duo TxC, and speculates that they are still together. The alleged betrayal prompted Moozlie, who celebrated her 30th birthday last year, to reassess her decision to remain in a relationship with a cheater.
Work and Personal Relationship between Sbuda Roc and Moozlie
In addition to their romantic involvement, Moozlie and Sbuda Roc also collaborated professionally. Sbuda Roc served as Moozlie’s manager while they were together. Last year, during an interview on Massiv Metro, Moozlie confirmed the breakup and shared that she had been immersing herself in work to cope with the emotional turmoil until she met her new partner.
This is not the first time Sbuda Roc’s fidelity has been called into question. In 2015, he was rumored to have cheated on his then-girlfriend, Carol Tshabalala, a renowned sportscaster, with radio personality Sammy Sosa Lehoko.
TxC DJ Duo Responds
After the reports began circulating on Twitter, Tarryn Reid, one half of TxC and previously linked to amapiano singer Daliwonga, dismissed the cheating allegations with laughter, describing them as “so random.” In a tweet, she stated, “Ew not our type. Not our type at all. So random 😭🤣.”
The response from TxC suggests that the allegations of infidelity involving their DJ duo and Moozlie’s ex-boyfriend are unfounded.
