Seputla Sebogodi Joins The River As Lindiwe Dikana’s Archenemy
The River is set for an upturn as renowned actor Seputla Sebogodi joins One Magic’s telenovela cast.
Sebogodi will spice things up a notch on the television show as he takes the role of Lindiwe Dikana’s nemesis called Mohumi.
We sure have to brace ourselves for the way Lindiwe Dikana, real name Sindi Dlathu, will handle her fresh enemy Mohumi, a ‘man who used to work in the mine and is tied to the late Thato Mokoena.
Seputla Sebogodi is well known for his legendary role in Generations as the villainous Kenneth Mashaba. Interestingly, his firstborn son Thapelo Sebogodi is also on The River. He plays the witty taxi driver who is quite vocal on The River.
Speaking on his son’s acting, Seputla said he is proud of him.
Thapelo is a lot like me, but he’s a better version of me. He’s better looking, smarter and very hardworking.
Seputla Sebogodi’s first acting gig was on a local Pedi drama Bophelo Ke Semphekgo in the early 90s. He played the role of Nkwesheng who was a serial womanizer.
He then joined the long-running comedy series, Suburban Bliss before joining Generations cast in 2005 as Kenneth Mashaba. In 2015, he joined an e.tv soapie Rhythm City as Solomon. The actor has also featured in films such as Hijack Stories, The Long Run, Mr. Bones and Beat The Drum among many others.
The actor is also an equally talented musician who released a gospel album titled Re Tshwarele Melato in 2010. He also released the album Buya in 2015 and another Nkuke Morena.
