Sekhukhune United head coach Peter Hyballa resigned following the emergence of his mapona video that has rocked the club.
The shocking footage, reportedly taken at a well-known Johannesburg brothel, was anonymously sent to the club’s top executives, prompting an immediate investigation.

Sources told Sunday World that the video, which circulated privately among the club’s hierarchy, shows Hyballa eating a thigh vendor. The identity of the person who recorded the video remains a mystery. The footage was used in an attempt to extort money from the club.
Club officials anonymously revealed that an unidentified group sent a video of Hyballa to the club. The group demanded a huge sum of money from the club’s leadership or else they would release the video to the public. They informed CEO Jonas Malatji that they wanted money by 5 August to protect the club’s reputation.
“It appears he [Coach Hyballa] might have pissed off one of the call girls who decided to record him and extort money from the team bosses.”
The source further explained that initially, the club’s executives thought the threats were a joke. However, once they viewed the footage, it became clear that the situation was serious. The club then summoned Hyballa to their Bedfordview offices, where he was confronted with the evidence.
“Initially, the coach denied ever visiting the brothel, but upon requesting to view the video, he acknowledged it was indeed him. They requested him to address the situation and forewarned him that any leak to the media would result in severe consequences, as it could damage the team’s reputation. He promised to resign afterwards, but he was hoping that the matter would not leak in the media. Now that you guys have it, the hammer has fallen. It’s over with him.”

Responses From The Manager And The Club
Hyballa, visibly upset, declined to comment when approached by the media:
“Why are you writing me shit questions. What is this?”
Sekhukhune United chairman Simon Malatji responded to media inquiries, saying:
“We have noted with concern the contents of your media query and the video clip depicting our club coach in a compromising position. To-date, this office is applying its mind to the matter in question and legal [counsel] is sought before commenting and forging a way forward in this matter.
“The management wishes to implore the players, the administrative personnel and the technical team to comport themselves in the manner befitting the decorum of the brand and refrain from engaging in activities which have the potential to undermine the integrity and the reputation of the team.”
