Senzo Meyiwa Trial Delay Delight| Zandie Khumalo’s Joy Sparks Public Outrage

Zandie Khumalo has rubbed social media users the wrong way and in return, she has been accused of enjoying trial delays in Senzo Meyiwa’s case.

The songstress was scheduled to testify on Monday, May 15, 2023, in the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa trial but there is currently no concrete information regarding the rescheduling of her appearance.

As the public demands justice, it appears that Zandie is unable to resist flaunting her satisfaction on social media.

Zandie Khumalo celebrates continuous Senzo Meyiwa trial delays

After causing significant delays on the initial date of Monday, May 15, 2023, when Zandie Khumalo was supposed to testify and provide her account of the events surrounding Senzo Meyiwa’s case, she proceeded to exploit this obstruction and proudly express her satisfaction on various social media platforms.

As reported by ZAlebs:

[Zandie] disabled the comments from her recent post. This is as she would take jabs at all the backlash she was receiving on social media.

As such, her cheeky caption wrote in isiZulu but when translated to English reads:
“Since you have tried everything else, why do you not just poison me. Also, why are you all so angry (laughing emojis) because it is only going to get worse. I suggest you take screenshots.”
Despite the public’s anticipation that the judge would render a verdict on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, regarding the admissibility of visual and audio broadcast of Zandie’s testimony, the proceedings took an unexpected turn.
During the hearing, the previous incident involving Zandie’s social media activity was used against her.
However, to the surprise of many, the judge decided to postpone the ruling for another day, prolonging the resolution of the matter. The reasons behind this decision remain unclear.
The ongoing delay in Zandie Khumalo’s testimony, now spanning four days and counting, has fueled increased dissatisfaction among the public.
Frustrated by the lack of progress, some people have turned to social media to express their discontent with the situation.
One of the comments on social media reads:
@Thembs_11

Everyone can see #ZandiKhumalo sees this case as her 15 of fame. After years yerning to be famous, she just wants to be on peoples lips. At all costs!

Contrary to the public’s frustration, Zandie Khumalo appears to be elated by the continued delay in the trial.

In a seemingly calculated move, she chose to express her joy on Instagram without using any suggestive or explicit captions.

Instead, she conveyed her satisfaction through visual content, indicating a strategic approach to her celebrations.
