Explosive Revelation: Senzo Meyiwa’s Brother Points Finger at Longwe Twala in Footballer’s Death
In a stunning twist to the ongoing trial of Senzo Meyiwa’s murder, his brother Sifiso Meyiwa has pointed a damning finger at Longwe Twala, unveiling shocking details of the events that unfolded on that fateful night.
With bold claims and intricate details, Senzo Meyiwa’s brother’s revelations have brought the trial back into the spotlight, shifting the focus onto a new and unexpected figure in the tragedy.
LongweTwala’s Furious Entry: An Explosive Turn of Events
In an exclusive interview with eNCA, Sifiso Meyiwa told the news channel that Longwe Twala, the son of music producer Chicco Twala, was the one who brought the murder weapon into Kelly Khumalo’s family home.
Senzo Meyiwa’s brother revealed that Zandile had been spending time with Senzo, Kelly and a visitor from Durban, Mthokozisi Thwala, whom Longwe assumed was having an affair with Zandie.
“Longwe arrived with a firearm. He was very angry. They said that he was so angry he did not greet anyone in the house. He was angry because he could not get ahold of Zandie.”
Sifiso painted a vivid picture of the tense atmosphere that enveloped the house that night. He claims that Longwe went to the Khumalo residence to confront Zandie in a rage, pointing a gun at her. He fired the first bullet, which hit the floor and Zandie’s foot.
He added that Senzo was killed when they tried to disarm Longwe but is unsure who fired the fatal shot as many people were involved in the tug of war. Sifiso Meyiwa stated,
“Longwe arrived there [at Kelly’s] that night and saw that there were two guys and two ladies. He left and returned [on the day of the incident] furious because he felt he was being lied to and made an idiot because his girlfriend is cheating with Senzo’s friend from Durban.” The situation escalated rapidly, ultimately resulting in a struggle over the firearm.
A Startling Confession and Unwavering Trust in Justice
Senzo Meyiwa’s brother’s revelations have caused shockwaves not only among the public but also within the Meyiwa family itself.
Sifiso claims that a person with significant influence confessed to him that the intruder narrative was concocted for media attention
“He pulled me to the side and said ‘son, all this talk about intruders entering the house is not true. It’s all for the media because Senzo was loved… what happened was that he [Senzo] was shot when Zandie and her boyfriend were fighting.”
This confession has raised questions about the integrity of the entire robbery narrative that has been central to the case.
