Shocking Cellphone Links Revealed in Senzo Meyiwa Murder Trial – Kelly Khumalo’s Cellphone Linked to Another Accused After Soccer Star’s Murder

In another bombshell disclosure during the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa murder trial, startling cellphone links have been unveiled between renowned singer Kelly Khumalo and one of the accused, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya.

The revelation was presented by State witness, Colonel Lambertus Steyn, who serves as a data analyst and investigation officer, at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Friday.

Link to Accused Number One

Colonel Steyn’s testimony exposed that there were cellphone links between Kelly Khumalo and accused number one, Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, following the tragic murder of Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa.

The revelation has added another layer of complexity to the highly-watched case, raising questions about the relationship between Kelly Khumalo and the accused.

Kelly Khumalo’s Stolen Phone Traced

The court heard compelling evidence as Colonel Steyn revealed that Kelly Khumalo’s stolen phone was tracked near the crime scene at 17:16 on the night of October 26, 2014, when Senzo Meyiwa was fatally shot.

Later in the evening, the stolen phone’s location was traced to a hostel at 22:43, adding intrigue to the timeline of events.

Link With Accused 5: Startling Phone Calls

During his testimony, Colonel Steyn disclosed two phone calls between Kelly Khumalo and accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli.

The first call occurred on August 2, 2014, and the second on October 15, 2014. These unexpected links have raised eyebrows and prompted further investigation into the nature of their communication.

Connections Among Accused Revealed

According to SABC reporter Chriselda Lewis, Colonel Lambertus Steyn further unveiled that four of the accused had established connections with each other. Accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli, had contact with accused number three, Mthobisi Mncube.

Additionally, Mncube was found to have had contact with accused number two, Bongani Ntanzi, adding complexity to the relationships within the case.
