Explosive Confession Links Kelly Khumalo to Senzo Meyiwa Murder: New Disturbing Details Emerge
In a stunning turn of events, new damning allegations have emerged against South African songstress Kelly Khumalo, further implicating her in the masterminding of the murder of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa. The shocking details were revealed during a hearing at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.

Damning Phone Records: Kelly Khumalo’s Calls with Murder-Accused Hours Before Senzo Meyiwa Was Killed
According to a confession statement given by accused two, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, on June 24, 2020, it was disclosed that Kelly Khumalo had been in contact with the murder-accused just hours before the tragic incident that claimed Meyiwa’s life.
This confession statement was reportedly the second to be read in court, with the first being presented by Lieutenant Colonel Solomon Raphadu on June 19, 2020, IOL reveals.
Ntanzi’s statement shed light on the events leading up to Meyiwa’s murder. He revealed that Ntuli acted as the driver, Sibiya was assigned the role of lookout, while Maphisa positioned himself near the window outside the house. Ntanzi and Mncube entered the house, where they encountered Meyiwa.
Confession Statement Unveiled: Accused Describes Kelly Khumalo’s Alleged Involvement
In his confession, Ntanzi stated that Mncube brandished a gun and ordered everyone present to lie down, demanding their phones and money. According to Ntanzi, Kelly Khumalo played a pivotal role in directing Mncube to the specific item he was seeking.
A scuffle ensued between Meyiwa and Mncube when the former attempted to prevent the latter from taking the desired item. Tragically, during the altercation, Meyiwa was fatally shot, sustaining a gunshot wound to his chest.
Intimidation and Threats: Accused Warned to Stay Silent About the Crime
Following the shooting, Ntanzi hurried back to the getaway car, and the rest of the group followed suit as they fled the scene. Ntanzi revealed that Mncube continued to threaten him during the drive, warning him against divulging any information about the incident. The accused claimed that Mncube had no knowledge of his parental home but threatened to harm him through individuals who were aware of his residence.
Financial Transactions: Accused Paid R45,000 for Role in Murder Plot
Ntanzi disclosed that he received a total payment of R45,000 in two instalments, with R15,000 given to him on the same evening as the crime and an additional R30,000 later on. The shock and fear resulting from the incident led Ntanzi to change his cellphone number upon arriving in Carltonville in an attempt to avoid further threats from the other accused.
Meanwhile, last year, Colonel Lambertus Steyn, an analyst from the Cold Case Unit, presented cellphone records indicating frequent contact between Kelly Khumalo and accused five, Ntuli, in the period leading up to Senzo Meyiwa’s tragic shooting.
