Shocking Eviction: DJ Sumbody’s Girlfriend of 13 Years Forced Out of Luxurious Residence Amidst Inheritance Battle
DJ Sumbody’s partner, Tlotlisang Moloi, reportedly got the boot from the late artist’s extravagant residence in Gauteng, leaving tongues wagging.
According to a trustworthy insider who spilled the beans to Sunday World, Moloi, who shared a committed 13-year relationship with Sefoka and resided with him for six years in their lavish Copperleaf Golf Estate home in Centurion, was instructed by the artist’s family to vacate the premises.
The Shocking Eviction
The informant revealed that the family approached Moloi, demanding she leaves the house in order to cleanse it of any lingering negative energy that may have permeated the opulent dwelling.
Since that incident, Moloi has been barred from reentering the residence and has found an alternative living arrangement in Tshwane. DJ Sumbody’s close circle of friends expressed sympathy towards her after the family’s decision to remove her from the condo.
“They met when Oupa was unknown and didn’t have anything, we were shocked when she was told to vacate their home because the family wanted to do a cleansing since their son stayed there with her. It has almost been more than six months and she is planning to take legal action against the Sefokas,” the source.
DJ Sumbody’s Girlfriend Vows To Fight For Piece Of Inheritance
A well-informed source revealed that Moloi’s legal representatives have taken the initiative to send a letter to DJ Sumbody’s associate, Setsetse, asserting their claim to a share of the inheritance.
In an attempt to discuss estate matters and the grieving process, Moloi and her family made efforts to arrange a meeting with the Sefoka family. However, Violet Sefoka, the appointed executrix of the musician’s estate, flatly refused to engage with Moloi’s parents and displayed a complete lack of interest in any form of dialogue.
“The family is saying she does not deserve anything as they were not married and all of Oupa’s assets were registered in his mother’s name,” the source added.
When Sunday World reached out to Setsetse for a comment, he stated that he couldn’t provide further information as the matter didn’t directly involve him.
Koketso Sefoka, DJ Sumbody’s brother, declined to comment on “rumours,” stating that all questions regarding his late brother’s affairs would be addressed in a forthcoming family statement.
Efforts to contact Moloi for comment proved fruitless as she ignored phone calls and text messages from Sunday World.
