Speaking during an interview with the Daily Sun, Zinhle revealed that she once expressed reluctance to her agency about taking on the role, fearing that it might compromise her reputation.

However, her inherent passion for challenging herself ultimately prevailed, leading her to accept the part.

“I always take on challenges and don’t like being comfortable. Hence, I took the role,” Zuma explained.

The actress emphasized the transformative power of acting, noting that she assumes an alter ego when she steps onto the set. Through this process, she fully immerses herself in the character she is portraying, enabling her to convincingly bring their story to life.

Furthermore, she revealed that while her brothers initially disapproved of her choice, expressing concerns about its suitability, her mother and her friends have been supportive. They understand that her portrayal is purely fictional and does not reflect her true personality.
