Music legend Solly Moholo has revealed the final wish of the late gospel star and their plan to fulfil it as soon as possible. Solly Moholo, a beloved and veteran gospel artist, has left behind an unforgettable legacy. His family is now dedicated to ensuring that his final wishes are respected following his tragic passing on October 2.

Known for his heartfelt music and inspiring lyrics, the late gospel star, whose full name was Solomon Molokoane, significantly impacted the music scene, and his influence is still felt deeply among fans and fellow artists alike.

Prior to his untimely departure, Solly was actively promoting his latest work, the album Wubani O zo Pepeza, while in Botswana. His sudden health complications required him to be rushed to the hospital, where he ultimately passed away. Even in his last days, Solly was focused on his passion for gospel music, spreading his message of hope and faith to the world.

Honouring Solly Moholo’s Final Wish

In a recent press briefing held in Soshanguve, Pretoria, Solly Moholo’s team and family shared their commitment to fulfilling his last wish: the release of his final album. According to his team, Solly had completed the album, and it was prepared to be unveiled to his audience. Despite his sudden passing, they have announced that the album will be released posthumously on October 11, as originally planned.

“Solly Moholo recorded and completed his last album, Wubani O zo Pepeza, which was set to be released before his untimely passing. One of his final wishes was that the album be shared with his fans. To honor his wish, the Molokoane family will ensure its release and continue to preserve his memory and legacy.”

Events to Commemorate Solly Moholo

To celebrate the life and career of the gospel legend, the family has organized a series of events for his fans and loved ones to come together in tribute. A memorial service is scheduled for October 9 at the State Theatre in Pretoria, starting at 11:00 am. This will be followed by a funeral service on October 12 at 7:00 am at Akasia Hall in Pretoria.

The family has also invited his supporters to stream and listen to Solly’s music to keep his spirit alive. They believe the best way to honour his memory is by ensuring that his music continues to reach and inspire audiences worldwide.
