Amidst the public fury, many questioned the swift bail approval and lamented the perceived leniency towards Jub Jub, given his previous convictions. Some argued that he should be held in custody until proven innocent of the alleged charges, as he is not a first-time offender.

Many are calling for stricter measures, with some expressing fears that granting bail to an individual facing such severe charges could potentially jeopardize public safety.

Check out some of the reactions;

@ThatoM;

They need to lock him up and throw away the key!!! A menace to society!

@KhangaleSni

Why is it that he already has bail today but others get reprimanded to stay at least a week before bail can be arranged

@LikhonaNg;

Why are they still giving him bail like he’s a first-time offender

@Phaks1987;

How did he make bail so fast? Why didn’t the judge postpone

@DojaSnac;

Knowing that he’s not a 1st time offender why was he granted bail?is he not supposed to be held in custody until he’s proven innocent of the alleged charges?

@Dlakadla_mezulu;

They’re giving bail to an ex-convict? A second-time offender on charges of assault, attempted murder, and rape? Hai our justice system sometimes fails us. This one should be locked up and bail denied.
