In a surprising turn of events, a man brazenly grabbed the bottom of a Spanish journalist live on TV. Fortunately, the man will now face the full wrath of the law following his arrest by Spanish police.

Isa Balado was reporting in Madrid about the arrest of shopkeepers who had beaten up a thief attempting to rob them. During her live report, a man approached her from behind and grabbed her bottom, while asking about the program she worked for.
Balado confronted the man, informing him that she was working and tried to continue with her report. However, the host of the show, Nacho Abad, insisted on showing the man’s face on camera.
Abad who was in the studio interrupted, asking, “Isa, sorry to interrupt, did they just touch your butt?” Balado confirmed the incident and turned to the man, questioning why he felt the need to touch her.
Initially, the 25-year-old Romanian national laughed and denied any wrongdoing. However, he later apologized and continued to stare at Balado while she pleaded with him to let her do her job.
The program’s presenter expressed his disapproval of the man’s actions, calling him an “idiot” live on air. The cameraman was instructed to focus on the man’s face so that viewers could see him.
Despite the assault, the man remained in close proximity to the journalist, observing her as she tried to carry on with her work. After Balado left the scene, the man returned and touched her hair.

Swift Action: Perpetrator Apprehended, Legal Consequences Await
The channel released a statement condemning any form of harassment or aggression and expressing support for Balado in light of the intolerable situation she experienced.
The Madrid police, alerted by the program itself, promptly arrested the man on charges of possible sexual assault. He was taken to the Family and Women’s Department of Madrid Police Headquarters, where further investigation, including the analysis of footage and statements from both the man and Balado, will take place.
