According to The People, the magnificent Icon of Seas boasts a remarkable 20 decks, each meticulously designed to provide a range of remarkable experiences. From the very first step onboard, passengers will find themselves immersed in a world of sheer extravagance.

Highlighting the ship’s unparalleled offerings is the world’s largest waterpark at sea, aptly named Category 6.

With an impressive collection of six thrilling water slides, passengers will delight in adrenaline-pumping aquatic adventures. Moreover, the Icon of the Seas offers a bevy of captivating experiences, including a resort-style getaway, a beach escape, a theme park, and an astonishing array of over 40 dining options, entertainment venues, and bars.

Venturing inside this opulent vessel, guests will be astounded by the one-of-a-kind “Ultimate Family Townhouse.”

Spanning three levels, this sprawling adventure-filled haven boasts an in-suite slide, a karaoke station, and hidden areas waiting to be discovered, ensuring a truly unforgettable stay. This remarkable dwelling promises adventure at every turn, immersing guests in an experience reminiscent of the Titanic’s opulent charm.

With 20 magnificent decks, the Icon of the Seas boasts several notable features. Royal Caribbean introduces its first-ever dueling piano bar, where melodious tunes will enchant passengers. The ship’s eight distinct “neighborhoods” provide diverse experiences for every taste, while thrill-seekers will be enticed by Crown’s Edge, a fear-inducing challenge blending skywalks, ropes courses, and exhilarating rides, pushing courage to its limits.

Weighing an astonishing 250,800 tons and measuring close to 1,200 feet in length, this colossal vessel accommodates approximately 5,610 passengers and 2,350 dedicated crew members, ensuring exceptional service throughout the journey.

After completing the first phase of sea trials, which involved meticulous tests on the ship’s engines, bow, propellers, as well as noise and vibration levels, the Icon of the Seas is now readying for its second round of trials later this year. This crucial step in its journey to fruition involved a remarkable collaboration of over 2,000 specialists, hundreds of miles traveled, and countless hours of meticulous work.

Come January 2024, the Icon of the Seas will embark on its inaugural voyage from the vibrant city of Miami. Offering 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean vacations year-round, passengers will have the opportunity to explore captivating tropical destinations such as the Bahamas, Mexico, St. Maarten, Honduras, and Royal Caribbean’s exclusive private island, CocoCay.
