With the addition of Paulo Cardoso to their academy coaching staff, Sundowns aims to groom exceptional talent to its team.

The statement reads, “Mamelodi Sundowns FC has developed a visionary and ambitious strategy for the future of the club with the appointment of Paulo Cardoso as the Head Of Academy; that strategy is in capable hands.”

Paulo Cardoso’s primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee the Mamelodi Sundowns Development Academy.
Under his guidance, the club aims to produce top-tier footballers, emphasising a holistic approach to individual development.

Flemming Berg, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Technical Director, emphasised the significance of this appointment, stating,
