Tebogo Thobejane On Her Muvhango Role – ‘Don’t Compare Me To Buhle Samuels!’

Film graduate and businesswoman; Tebogo Thobejane who plays Marang’s wedding planner has lambasted Muvhango viewers on social media for comparing her to Buhle Samuels who used to play Matshidiso.

While the actress has appreciated the warm welcome since her debut on Muvhango, she is apparently not happy about some of the comments on social media and has stated:

“Please don’t compare me to Buhle, I’m not here to replace her and I’ve worked very hard.”

Thobejane has apparently waited for more than a decade for this big break and has stated:

“I’m carving my own path. I’m not here to emulate anyone. I appreciate the wonderful reception I’ve been getting for my debut role. Rather applaud the good work we are bringing to the entertainment industry.”

The actress is apparently hurt by the comparison because she’s waited for more than a decade and said waiting for more than a decade is hard enough and didn’t expect to be compared to Samuels because they are not alike.

Fans can’t get over her. Whether is because of her acting skills, good looks, or her banging body, we don’t know. But what we do know right now is that Tebogo is a hit with the fans.

Although Tebogo Thobejane has more than 350k followers on Instagram and unapologetically embodies the soft life, she is more than a ‘big booty girl’.

Although it’s unclear how long she will be with the show, it’s clear that the show might need her to stay longer as she’s capable of breaking the internet making Muvhango top trending topics on Twitter.

The actress has also been compared to reality star and businesswoman; Faith Nketsi for her body and big booty.

She’s gotten more attention from fans in comparison to the other two new actresses; Bontle Mampa and Kamo Letsosa who’ve just joined the show as well.

Bontle Mampa portrays the character of Mmagauta “Bubbles” Mosipidi. Bubbles are reportedly going to be a 28-year-old bubbly and driven front desk helper administrator who takes herself very seriously. While Kamo Letsosa plays the role of Master on the show. Master comes into our world to reveal a dark side of KK’s life.”

It appears that MacDonald Ndou’s character isn’t a self-made millionaire after all, as he’s had help acquiring his wealth from Master (Kamo Letsosa) after years of playing millionaire businessman; KK Mulaudzi.

Watch Tebogo Thobejane on Muvhango at 21:00 on SABC 2.
