Former Bafana Bafana star Teko Modise and his wife Koketso have split after three years of marriage.
The high-profile couple, who tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in 2021, reportedly went their separate ways a few months ago. Sources close to the pair say Modise has moved out of their home in northern Johannesburg.

Koketso has dropped the Modise surname and adopted a new social media handle. Their once-frequent updates featuring vacations, lunch dates, and a glimpse into their stylish home have vanished.
The separation did not come without attempts to salvage the relationship. A source told Zimoja that the couple worked on fixing their marriage but failed due to unspecified factors.
“They make a cute couple, but sadly, the relationship has run its course. Maybe in the future, but right now, I think they both need to be apart from each other,” the source said.
Despite the split, Modise and Koketso are co-parenting their two-year-old child. The arrangement seems to be working well, according to those close to them.

Koketso is currently on vacation with her friends in southern Italy. A source close to the situation described her as “fabulous and living it up.” Attempts to contact her for comment were unsuccessful, while Modise declined to respond to inquiries.
