DJ Fresh Reveals Possible Cause of Ex-Wife Thabiso Sikwane’s Sudden Death
DJ Fresh has shared a potential cause of death for his ex-wife, Thabiso Sikwane, who unexpectedly passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 50.
The Sikwane and Matladi families have been receiving an outpouring of condolences following the sudden loss of Thabiso. Coincidentally, Thabiso died just hours after DJ Fresh released an episode of his podcast, WAW What A Week, featuring her as a guest. To prevent speculation that he was using her death to boost viewership, DJ Fresh decided to address the situation directly.

Thabiso Sikwane Possible Cause of Death Revealed
According to DJ Fresh, Thabiso may have died from cardiac arrest, although this has not been confirmed as they are still awaiting postmortem results.
“We are told it could be a cardiac event, but what would have caused it has not been ascertained. So, we await a postmortem that will give everyone clarity,” he said.
DJ Fresh added that both the Sikwane and Matladi families are struggling to understand Thabiso’s sudden passing.
“This doesn’t make sense to anyone, and how it could just happen out of the blue,” he added.

Continuing Professional Commitments Amid Grief
Both the Sikwane and Matladi families are struggling to understand Thabiso’s sudden passing.
“He said. ‘I hope you will honour your bookings because that is what Mom would want’. Just like she did when our 15-year-old Wandi was born. Wandi arrived a tad early and I had a booking in Durban,” DJ Fresh shared.
According to DJ Fresh, Thabiso had also urged him to fulfil his professional obligations back then. The family will announce details about the memorial service and funeral in due course.
