The River’s Winnie Ntshaba Before and After Bleaching
A close look at actress and creator of the Royalty Soapie Awards, Winnie Ntshaba, a few years ago on her role as Khethiwe Buthelezi in the SABC1 soapie Generations and now would leave one convinced that she went under the knife and bleached her skin.
Rumors of her bleached skin and plastic surgery started going around four years ago. According to Move magazine’s 2016 article, there had been speculations that Winnie has undergone plastic surgery, but also, seemingly nothing was far from the truth.
The actress denied all allegations of surgery when interviewed by the magazine that year. She apparently later assured the magazine that may be in the future she would. However, experts in the field and tweeps have apparently distinguished the difference between her old images to recent pictures that she’s indeed been under the knife.
Other South African actresses that have bleached their skin and gone under the knife include The Queen’s; Connie Ferguson who had a rhinoplasty, and Khanyi Mbau whose bleached her skin, had fillers, boob job, and a nose job. Mbau previously starred in Uzalo and Muvhango.
Alas, tweeps haven’t been as judgmental and harsh towards Winnie Ntshaba as most celebrities as they love her on-screen. Ntshaba is currently starring in Mzansi’s multi-award-winning telenovela; The River as comedic Zodwa (Lindani’s and Paulina’s mother).
Viewers of the show love her role so much that they’ve asked Phathu Makwarela to make her a permanent cast member on the show.
Ntshaba also had a guest-starring role on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela The Road and played the villainous witch; Malgandi on The Herd where she was also loved for her talent and passion.
Spot the dramatic change in appearance, ever since her departure from Generations in these pictures…
