Prominent actor Sipho Ndlovu, known for his role in “The Wife,” has initiated legal proceedings against Thandeka Mhlanga, who recently accused him of GBV. Ndlovu strongly denies these allegations and has taken steps to address the claims legally.

On Wednesday evening, Ndlovu filed a case at the Douglasdale police station in Johannesburg. The accusations surfaced on social media when Mhlanga posted pictures and statements alleging that Ndlovu had assaulted her.

However, Ndlovu refuted these allegations in an interview with Sunday World, stating that Mhlanga had not officially reported the incident to the police as she had claimed online. Instead, she was taken into custody from her workplace on Thursday morning.

Sipho Ndlovu Denies GBV Allegations

Ndlovu emphasized that Mhlanga’s social media claims were false. He mentioned that Mhlanga attempted to coerce him into apologizing, which made him suspicious of her intentions. He stated, “I never assaulted her. The pictures she posted do not corroborate her story. She alleged that she came to my place, and I blocked her from entering before slapping her and throwing her down.”

He further revealed that security footage showed Mhlanga climbing over the gate wall, which he presented to the police as evidence.

“This is a case of someone trying to tarnish my reputation with false allegations of gender-based violence. Such serious claims should not be used to settle personal vendettas.”

The security guard on duty during the incident has also filed a case of assault against Mhlanga, claiming she attacked him. This additional evidence and testimony further complicate the situation.

Mhlanga was apprehended at her workplace on Thursday morning and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
