Thuso Mbedu Releases Trailer
South African-born actress Thuso Mbedu has taken to social media to share a trailer for a new American television series and announce its premiere date. Thuso is a lead actress in the time period drama series titled Underground Railroad, based on the 1800’s slavery period in America. Underground Railroad is set to be released on the 14th of May on Amazon Video. The highly anticipated production is headed by none other than Oscar award-winning director Barry Jenkins.

Mbedu is not new to the international spotlight, her performance in Isthunzini earned her an Emmy nomination, she has also been nominated for Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award.
