This year was full of grief for everyone. Mzansi had to bid farewell to many of our loved ones, especially in Celebville.
We lost quite a number of celebrities this year and here is a full list of Mzansi Celebs who died in 2020.
- Bob Mabena
The legendary radio presenter and television personality had been battling an unnamed life-threatening sickness that was diagnosed in 2018 and sadly lost his life on the 10th of August 2020 at the age of 51.
Mshoza’s death left many shell-shocked. She died at a Johannesburg hospital after being diagnosed with coronavirus.
The prominent Kwaito died at the age of 37 after a two-decade-long music career she began only at the age of 10.
- Gee Six Five
Adored sexagenarian and Amapiano sensation, Gee Six Five, whose real name was real name Olpha Sepele died earlier this month – 9 December 2020 after testing positive to coronavirus.
She enjoyed her 15 minutes of fame after the release of her viral song, Obani Lababantu but sadly died a month after.
- Mary Twala
Mzansi lost yet another legend in the acting industry, Mam’ Mary Twala who died on Saturday 4 July 2020 at Netcare Park Lane Private Hospital. Mary Twala died on her late husband, Ndaba Mhlongo’s birthday.
She died at the age of 79.
