Bonginkosi Ntuli Died on His Wedding Weekend
Bonginkosi Ntuli and his wife, Sinenhlanhla “Sne” Zungu, celebrated their union with a white wedding on the 9th of September. The Umabo, a traditional event in which the bride is formally welcomed into the groom’s family, was scheduled for the first weekend of November.
Tragically, Bonginkosi Ntuli’s life took a devastating turn as he and his wife were preparing for their Umabo. Sources close to the families revealed to Zimoja that Bonginkosi had been on the path to recovery following surgery he underwent just a month ago at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital in Durban. The couple was brimming with joy and excitement as they looked forward to their special day. However, their joy was abruptly shattered when Ntuli experienced severe pain, leading to his hospitalization.
“They had a beautiful day. They had just finished buying food and drinks for umabo, when Bongi started complaining of severe pain and he was rushed to the hospital”, the source revealed.
Despite Zulu tradition advocating for weddings to proceed without delay, Sne opted to wait for her husband’s recovery. Sadly, his untimely death came as a shock to everyone.
