Eugene Mthethwa’s Son Escapes Freak Accident by A Whisker
Sources close to the EFF MP told ZiMoja that Mthethwa’s son was having a good time with his friends. They then set out on a drive. As the bakkie was moving, Mthethwa’s son suddenly fell off and cracked his skull. He got lucky because he wore a helmet, which saved him from brain damage, but he lost his speech and had to be rushed to the hospital. His condition improved after he received medical attention.
The source expressed gratitude:
“God is great. He is lucky to be alive because things could have turned dire.”

He instantly flew back home to be with his son and returned to Durban for the event. He confirmed that his son was recovering and thanked God for sparing his life.
He told the ZiMoja:
“Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t talk about my personal life in the media, but I can confirm that my son is recovering. I’m grateful to the Almighty God I serve.”
