TV and radio personality Phat Joe has found himself evicted from his upscale Capetown apartment after he failed to pay rent.
This challenge is exemplified in the recent ordeal faced by renowned television and radio personality Phat Joe, as reported by various reputable news outlets. The vivacious 49-year-old found himself reportedly ousted from his opulent coastal abode in Sea Point, Cape Town.
Phat Joe Struggles To Pay Rent
Accounts from the aforementioned sources indicate that Phat Joe, born Majota Khambule, struggled to meet his rental obligations, culminating in his unfortunate eviction.
Records suggest that his last rent payment dates back to November 2022, with arrears now exceeding a staggering R600,000.

However, according to assertions made by Phat Joe, he alleges that someone maliciously fed falsehoods to the courts to orchestrate his eviction.
Allegations of intimidation to steal money by the presenter
As reported by News24, Phat Joe purportedly stated, “This individual, along with their family and cohorts, has resorted to intimidation and deceitful tactics in an attempt to extort R267,000 from me through fabricated claims and deceptive legal manoeuvres.”
The host of Real Goboza further elaborated that this debacle is entangled in an ongoing legal saga encompassing both civil and criminal litigations, including allegations of assault.
Ultimately, a ruling from the Western Cape High Court mandated his eviction by May 31st. Nonetheless, Phat Joe, alongside his wife, Palesa Morgan, vacated the premises on April 19th.
The couple recently started a family and can not afford to be homeless. Many people on social media are urging the TV personality to find a less extravagant place.
