Tweeps Drag Makhadzi For Her Self Confidence
Relentless tweeps are trolling the Queen of Limpopo, Makhadzi, for her facial looks.
Her attempt to shut down the trolls by recently tweeting, “The most beautiful girl I know. Ngimuhle shem,” are proving fruitless.
Tweeps started trolling the Limpompo hitmaker after a fan posted a picture of Makhadzi with Mampintsha and captioned the image: “for a moment I thought it was Photoshopped”.
The image went viral after another tweep tweeted:
“I can’t believe you are 24.”
To which Makhadzi replied: “I know, I look 16. Drinking water helps.”
Then things went downhill when a mean troll tweeted: “I like your confidence, even though you’re ugly”.
Then Makhadzi took control by replying: “The most beautiful girl I know, ngimuhle shem (I’m beautiful). The queen.”
Makhadzi’s fans then came to her defense, started a hashtag #WeAppreciateMakhadzi to speak out against cyber-bullying and trolls.
These are the reactions from Makhadzi’s fans
“#WeAppreciateMakhadzi this woman is an inspiration and she’s very beautiful, let’s appreciate her.”
“The Queen. There is no one that loves Makhadzi more that the way Makdzi loves Makhadzi.”
“Helang if u are not agreeing to her statement,, go somewhere pls, makhadzi is beautiful full stop.”
“She gives us the best music and the best stage performance. We appreciate her. We are her, she is us.”
“I think it’s a right time to make a move on @makhadzi.”
“@makhadzimuimbi wasn’t born this year or last, she’s been here living with us and releasing hits after hits, then all of a sudden, someone calls her ugly because she’s famous? That’s very low bruh.”
The musician recently released an album, titled KokoVha, which got the nation talking during the festive season.
Received great reviews and excitement on social media, which resulted in her topping the Twitter trends list during the festive season.
Her #KokoVhaAlbum resulted in a challenge where her fans shared videos of themselves dancing and stanning to Makhadzi ‘s album.
Her fans love Makhadzi for putting her culture on the map. Went as far as calling her album a“situation changer” that made them forget about the Covid-19 pandemic.
Makhadzi’s love for her culture is evident in the way she infused her identity as a person from Venda throughout the album
This resulted in her getting a shout out from her former ex-boyfriend, Master KG, and her friend, Sho Madjozi helped her sing a song from her album on stage.
