International disc jockey Uncle Waffles has had an amazing year. On Saturday, 12 August, she had yet another thing to celebrate and took to her social media to announce that she has made it to the Times Square and Toronto Dundas Square billboards which had her fans and social media followers’ tongues wagging.

From celebrating being in the line-up at Coachella to getting a burger named after her at KFC, to rubbing shoulders with American singer Ciara, and also getting recognised by superstar Beyoncé Knowles, Uncle Waffles – real name Lungelihle Zwane proves to be the hottest thing happening right now.
She recently had two more things to celebrate and rushed to her feed to let her fans know all about her latest achievements. Her latest EP, Solace, was announced on Times Square and Toronto’s Dundas Square billboards.

Uncle Waffles Opens Up About Her Latest EPs Asylum and Solace
She also was interviewed on Variety recently, the Swaziland-born, South African-based Amapiano DJ opened up about her latest EPs Asylum and Solace.
“There’s so much chaos when you blow up… and there’s so much learning left to do. There are so many moments where you’re feeling like you’re drowning. So Asylum was supposed to represent the chaos of my journey,” she was quoted as saying.
“Then Solace is supposed to signify how within all of this, I still recognise the grace and that there was so much beauty within this journey. There’s so much beauty, and so Solace is supposed to capture the parts of the project that represents how happy I am that I was chosen for this,” she reportedly added.
