Uncle Waffles Teases New Album ‘Asylum’, Mzansi Reacts To Album Cover
South African music artist, Uncle Waffles, has excited her fans by announcing that she will be releasing new music next week. Uncle Waffles who has been performing at local and international gigs, posted the tracklist and cover art for her second body of work titled “Asylum” on her social media pages. The news caused Uncle Waffles to trend on Twitter.
Her first body of work Red Dragon which she released last year, was received positively by fans. The hit track Tanzania became a fan favourite and one of the most popular Amapiano songs of 2022. If the first album is anything to go by, fans can not help but impatiently wait for Asylum.
Uncle Waffles recently announced that she will be performing at the Coachella Festival and has now shared that she will be releasing another project just one year after her debut album. She expressed her excitement about the project, saying that her debut album unlocked a part of her that she never knew existed. She wrote, “Welcome to the Asylum. Out Friday, 31st of March.”
