Kuvshinov completely took off his clothes and approached a male bull before turning his attention to a female cow that was tied to a wooden fence in a field in Surat Thani, Thailand, on Thursday afternoon.
The tourist allegedly tried to mount the cow, but she reacted aggressively, pinning him to the ground and goring him.
Fortunately for Kuvshinov, locals who had grown suspicious of his odd behaviour—after seeing him wandering around in his birthday suit—had already contacted the police. They had also heard his desperate cries for help and instead of stepping in to rescue him, the locals chose to stand next to him and waited for the police to arrive.
The shocking incident, captured on camera, shows Kuvshinov lying naked on the ground while the brown cow attacks him. You can watch the video of the incident here.

Police Suspect Russian Was Under Drug Influence
When police and paramedics arrived, they found Kuvshinov injured and took him to Bannaderm Hospital. He was treated for wounds on his backside and various abrasions.
A paramedic from the Ban Na Doem Foundation suggested that Kuvshinov might have been trying to be intimate with the cow. The paramedic also noted that cannabis was found in Kuvshinov’s car, which might suggest he was under the influence of drugs when he tried to have relations with the cow.
‘We found cannabis in his car so maybe he was high. The way we found him, his actions suggest that he was trying to do something dirty with the cow, that he was trying to have sex with her,” the paramedic said.
Detention and Further Investigation
Police Lieutenant Thongchai Chaikit from Ban Na Doem Police Station reported that they received word of a foreign man in an ‘altercation’ with a cow at 5:40 pm on August 15. The officer stated that the cow charged at Kuvshinov when he tried to restrain it by holding its head and that he was fortunate the rescue team arrived in time.
Kuvshinov was initially taken to a hospital but was turned away after he exhibited erratic behaviour. At the time of the report, he was detained at the police station as local police awaited the arrival of tourist and immigration authorities to proceed with the investigation.
