Shocking Video: UWC Student Brutally Stabs Wife Barely 24 Hours After GBV Protest
Less than 24 hours after students protested at the University of Western Cape (UWC) over the institution’s handling of gender-based violence (GBV) cases, a man, identified as Ntembeko Myalo, stabbed his wife, Sinoxolo Myalo, in an unfortunate incident.
Reports suggest that the university had received several GBV-related cases, but they were allegedly ignored.
UWC Student Stabs Wife In Broad Daylight
Ntembeko, a registered UWC student, attacked his wife, who attends the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), for reasons yet undisclosed. Unconfirmed information indicates that she is currently fighting for her life in an undisclosed hospital, while Ntembeko is in police custody.
The disturbing incident, captured on camera outside the Southpoint residence, shows Ntembeko repeatedly stabbing his wife, who is on the ground. Onlookers attempted to intervene, but Ntembeko threatened to stab them as well.
