VIEWERS SHOCK| Mam’Sonto To Die As Season 2 Gomora Returns
Mzansi Magic’s much loved drama series – Gomora viewers are in for a treat as the storyline looks set to raise emotions even higher on the upcoming new season 2 set to debut this April.
Gomora raked in high viewership numbers in its debut season which is ending on a high note, promising fireworks as the series returns.
As season 2 starts, it will mark the return of Zolisa Xaluva and Katlego Danke as two main rival families fight against each other.
According to the series production, the new season will be filled with shock, heartbreak and one major death that will shatter many.
And this is the death of Mam’Sonto played by Connie Chiume.
From playing the strong and soft maternal figures to spiteful women, now to crime Queen pin; Connie has indeed revolutionized the entertainment industry with her out-of-this-world acting skills.
iHarare reported that her recent state she had got herself at Gomora could be an indication that the 69-year-old may soon be taking a break from the screens if not just from Gomora.
Reports from the director of M-Net’s local entertainment channels, Nomsa Philiso further indicate that one of the big star (who we believe is Connie Chiume) will be leaving the show on a sad note as season 2 starts on the 26th of April on Mzansi Magic, DStv channel, 161 at 7.30pm.
“Viewers are also in for a big surprise as one of the main characters in the telenovela will die, plunging the two families into chaos, heartbreak and pandemonium,” Nomsa said as she gave a hint.
