The End of a 20-Year Marriage
The couple announced their separation in February 2022 after 20 years of marriage. Despite their divorce, they managed to maintain a close friendship that was evident to many, mainly through their appearance on DJ Fresh’s podcast, What a Week, just days before Thabiso’s tragic passing.

“The reason for our final podcast recording together was for me to offer a public apology for the hurt I caused you, the embarrassment, and the heartbreak. I owed you that much, and I didn’t get the chance to complete it while you were still here,” he said with deep regret. “So here I am, fulfilling that promise. I’m sorry, my friend.”
