Former Sizokuthola TV host Xolani Khumalo is living in fear after receiving death threats. Khumalo who is facing a murder charge recently opened up about the challenges he has been facing after getting fired by Moja Love.

Xolani Khumalo who was a guest recently on DJ Sbu’s podcast, the Hustlers Corner revealed that his life is in danger.

He claimed that he has been receiving death threats from anonymous drug dealers and those he knows.

In a conversation with DJ Sbu, Xolani disclosed that he has kept his place of residence a secret out of fear of potential attacks or assassination if those who wish him harm discover his whereabouts.

This is not the first time, Xolani has opened up about receiving death threats. In May,  this year, he revealed that both he and Moja Love’s CEO, Aubrey Tau have been receiving death threats from drug dealers demanding the removal of the show Sizok’thola from the airwaves.

Moja Love Fire with Xolani Khumalo

On the 3rd of November, Moja Love fired Xolani Khumalo who is facing a murder charge in connection with the filming of the show.

Moja Love announced its decision to terminate its relationship with Xolani in a statement.

“Moja Love TV Channels has terminated its relationship with Mr Xolani Khumalo, presenter of one of the channel’s leading shows, Sizok’thola. The channel will not be commenting on any matters relating to Mr Khumalo at this stage and wishes him everything of the best in his future endeavours,” reads the statement.

The following day, Moja Love released another statement explaining why it had fired Xolani Khumalo. In the statement, channel highlighted that they had been some concerns about his knowledge and involvement in unlawful incidents.

The channel elected not to continue with Mr Khumalo after raising concerns and questioning him about his knowledge and involvement in the unlawful incidents that led to the possible contamination of crime scenes, failed prosecution of known drug lords and unfortunate tragedies that followed the filming of certain episodes,” reads part of the statement
