The River fans are worried that they could see less and less of fan favourite, Zolani.
Zolani, played by actor Lawrence Maleka has a new gig on the horizon, which might take his time away from The River.

Lawrence Maleka will be presenting a new show called Too Hot to Be Single on SABC1.
Lawrence Maleka has been presenting gigs in the past, but his last show was 4 years ago.
Too Hot To Be Single is a show which deals with super attractive people, who are searching for equally hot people on social media to go on dates with.

Lawrence himself took to social media to announce his new gig
“I am pleased to announce that I’ll be joining @mzansi_fosho as the host of their brand new dating game show Too Hot To Be Single. Tune in on Thursday, 8 April @21:00 on SABC 1 to find out if the Too Hot To Be Singles are able to find their perfect match”.
The River fans are now worried as this means the actor could totally leave the telenovela to focus on his new show, or his screen time might be limited due to conflicting shooting schedules.
We hope it doesn’t come to that, as Zolani is a very big part of The River.
