Black Coffee vows never to get married again after Enhle Mbali divorce

Black Coffee, the Grammy-winning producer, spoke candidly about his failed marriage to actress Enhle Mbali in a recent interview with MacG and Sol Phenduka on the Podcast And Chill. Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo, revealed that their marriage started getting sour as their priorities began to change.

According to Black Coffee, one of the common goals in a relationship is to understand each other’s pain. He said that he wants to give his “dusty little boy” as many hugs as possible and make sure he’s seen, which is why he’s doing the internal work to become a better human being.

Over time, they started wanting different things, and problems began to arise. Due to the turmoil and drama, he experienced during and after his divorce, Black Coffee has decided not to get married again.

He feels that he’s in a better space now, understands himself better, and is with someone with whom he feels peaceful without any pressure. The DJ did not say who he was in a relationship with as he is keeping his relationship a secret.

Black Coffee agreed to an interview with the podcast after his ex-wife Enhle accused him of Gender Based Violence on Instagram. He then posted on his Twitter that he was not okay and then agreed to a tell-it-all on the podcast.

Below is what Black Coffee had to say about his views on marriage now:

“Today, I know for a fact I won’t get married again. I’m clear about that because I am now in a better space in understanding who I am. I also understand the kind of pressure society puts you in without ever backing you up. I am with someone, and I am in the most peaceful place with that understanding that there is no pressure.”
