Boss Moves From Three Actresses This Year

Thahane has been hard at work building her empire while many celebrities barely made it this year. 

The actress slashes businesswoman created a production company; Thahane Media which is the brainchild of the former Skeem Saam and The Queen actress. She holds the title of executive producer and has hosted events in partnership with Wits SRC, to host a praise and worship event ‘Radical Trailblazers.

Boss Moves From Three Actresses This Year

Singer and lead actress on the Emmy nominated award-winning novella; Sindi Dlathu will return to co-produce season four of The River.

Phathu Makwarela who is the co-founder and producer of the show stated: “The season three finale in February next year will give viewers a glimpse of the Lindiwe Dikana they should expect when season four starts next year – someone who will do whatever it takes to stay on top.”

Makwarela who is proud of Dlathu’s promotion further mentioned: “The appointment of Sindi Dlathu as a co-executive producer is a huge accomplishment for all of us. Certainly, a first for the South African television industry to have an actress promoted to co-executive produce a television show, for her immeasurable contribution, on and offset.”

Dlathu’s involvement will include being instrumental and hands-on in key creative decisions for the show. 

An excited Dlathu said: “I am humbled and honored to be given this opportunity to work on a show that cares about people and the important work that we do as creatives. I’m so thrilled to create and now, produce with people that I’ve loved and respected for the longest time.” 

Dlathu walked away with her first SAFTA and was recently named the Most Stylish Performing Artist in Film or TV at the 2020 South Africa Style Awards.

She also joined the cast of the hit Netflix movie; How to ruin Christmas: The Wedding which is preferred over the Ferguson Films Netflix series; Kings Of Joburg.
