Rapper Shebeshxt has been moved and discharged from the ICU to a general ward as his condition improves after the fatal accident.

The accident occurred on June 8 while Shebeshxt was en route to a performance. The crash resulted in significant injuries for him and his partner, Kholofelo Moloto, who suffered moderate to serious injuries. Tragically, their nine-year-old daughter did not survive the accident.

Shebeshxt’s Health Update and Surgery

Family spokesperson James Magoro provided an update to TshisaLIVE, stating that Shebeshxt has undergone surgeries on his leg and shoulder. The medical team has managed to stabilize his condition enough to consider his attendance at his daughter’s funeral.

“He is still in the hospital, but plans are being made for him to attend the funeral. We are coordinating with hospital staff to ensure he can be present for the service on Saturday in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo, and then return to the hospital to continue his recovery,” Magoro explained.

Funeral Attendance Plans

“He had several dislocations, with one leg now supported by steel pins and a moon boot. Although he is capable of walking with both legs, he still requires significant rest and medical attention,” Magoro added.

Family’s Handling of the Tragedy

Magoro also mentioned that the family has not directly discussed the death of Shebeshxt’s daughter with him, although he is aware of her passing. “We have refrained from talking to him about his loss, understanding the depth of his grief. However, he has noticed his daughter is no longer present and is aware that his partner, Kholofelo, was injured. He has asked about Kholofelo’s condition but has not inquired about his daughter, knowing she did not survive,” Magoro said.
