These grave accusations came to light through the controversial celebrity gossipmonger Musa Khawula. Khawula provided supporting evidence in the form of iMessage group chat screenshots and shared snapshots from DBN Gogo’s WhatsApp statuses and messages.

In the group chat, DBN Gogo’s friends expressed confusion as the Amapiano wheel spinner and music producer apparently gifted her boyfriend an expensive Rolex watch while claiming that she does not have money and has at times asked them to split the bill for a bottle of Hennessy.
DJ Banques shared his thoughts in the iMessage group chat, saying,
“And she’s gonna tell us she doesn’t have money…We need to split the bill of the Henny but buying niggas Rolex.”

DBN Gogo, whose real name is Thembani Mandisa Radebe, appears to be frustrated with her boyfriend Trizz King Mageba’s constant requests for expensive gifts. In a WhatsApp status, she highlighted how men often mistake her apparent wealth for a lack of interest in material gifts.
DBN Gogo pointed out that love and support are not enough for her as she also loves to be spoiled by her beau.
“The worst part of this for me is men will think I have money and I’m not materialistic. Please abeg. I love nice things only. Your love and support is NOT enough,” DBN Gogo allegedly shared on her WhatsApp status.

In one WhatsApp message, a man assumed to be her new boyfriend pleaded with her to buy him a PATEK, a request DBN Gogo outright refused.
Adding another layer to the controversy, an individual claimed in a WhatsApp message that DBN Gogo has a type—thieves. The person alleged that her new boyfriend is involved in car theft.
