“TORONTOOOOOOOO! For the first time! We have a date! We love Waffles Headline Show on 1st August,” she wrote, accompanying the announcement with a stylized photo of herself paying homage to Drake’s signature look.
Channelling the Canadian rapper’s aesthetic from the music video for his single “8 am in Charlotte,” Uncle Waffles can be seen sporting a hockey jersey, grills, multi-coloured hair clips, and a beard. The photo also included fonts from the Canadian rapper’s seventh studio album “Honestly, Nevermind.”
In a behind-the-scenes video shared with fans, the Tanzanian artist’s team can be seen meticulously putting together her Drake-inspired look, complete with a professional photoshoot.
