Enhle Mbali Want To Take My Home & Children: DJ Black Coffee Hits Back
DJ Black Coffee has finally broken his silence and addressed allegations that he assaulted his estranged wife, Enhle Mbali.
The world-renowned producer and DJ, real name Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, released a hard-hitting statement in which he categorically denied the assault allegations.
He also hit back at Enhle Mbali and accused her of misleading the public just so that she can take the couple’s home and children away from him through her application for a protection order.
Writing on social media on Tuesday, Black Coffee said,
In the name of respect and dignity for my family and my children I’ve been quiet but now I feel a need to speak.
GBV is major issue in our country, every day we read about horrendous crimes committed by men against women and children.
I personally grew up witnessing GBV in my own household and from a young age I vowed never to allow that to happen again under any circumstances.
I DID NOT assault Mbali, the mother of my children. I didn’t do it now and I have never done It before.
It is truly regrettable that she has chosen to mislead the public using the name of GBV and seeking a protection order against me to sperate me from my children and our home.
Divorce is never easy but for us it has been especially painful and I’ve spent the last 3 years in and out of intense therapy to deal with it privately.
Everyday I am attacked by relentless lies and falsehoods.
I DID NOT ASSAULT HERAs a law-abiding citizen, I will absolutely observe the demands of the interim order but will categorically oppose the permanent installation of its prescripts and this is why we are currently in court.
Black Coffee’s public statement on the issue comes after his former wife filed an application for a protection order at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court. In the application, Enhle is seeking to have Black Coffee barred from entering his former marital home after accusing him of domestic violence.

According to Enhle Mbali, DJ Black Coffee slapped her on the wrist following a heated disagreement at the home in March. It is believed that Black Coffee was unhappy with a birthday celebration held at the home.
The actress said that she was pushing for a protection order to prevent the abuse from escalating.
“No matter how small it is, it always escalates. We’ve seen our Karabo’s; we’ve seen our Reeva Steenkamps and I want that to stop today. I will fight with a lot of women fighters that I have rallied around me and I won’t stop until justice is done.”
The judgement on the case has been reserved.
