A police officer was killed while having an affair in a bush in Mpumalanga. Judas Chiloane, the traffic chief in Bushbuckridge, was shot twice in the back seat of his car while his lover was unharmed.

Two suspects were caught and taken to court on March 15th. The two men confessed to robbing couples who visited the spot where the incident occurred for sexual activities.

They ambushed Chiloane and his side chick, stole his gun, and shot him in the thigh and upper body. When the police arrived, they found Chiloane with no clothes on, and his uniform was on the ground.

A source told Tshisa Live about the ordeal, saying:

“They shot him in the leg. He tried [to] escape to the driver’s side, and he has reshot… The officer tried to speed off for about 124m but succumbed due to injuries sustained. It seemed like the suspect took his firearm and other items and [fled].”

His lover survived the incident and ran to report the crime to the authorities. His family described him as a good man who loved his family and was a member of the Zion Christian Church.

His brother, who spoke to the press, said that the family did not know about the woman he was in the car, and they only knew that his brother was married to the woman he was living with, and they had children together. In his statement to the press, he said:

“We do not know that lady; I haven’t even seen her. What we know is that my brother was a good man who loved his family and was also a member of the Zion Christian Church (ZCC). He did not drink or was involved in anything wrong.”
